POETRY: "How to Act Like a Woman"
HOW TO ACT LIKE A WOMAN
Be straight as you sit up tall, riding the next wave, quiet as you listen to superiors.
Don't hate anything at all — behave; strong emotions are ulterior.
Your fall? Inevitable as Eve — even, equitable, fated curiosity, within an agreed-upon setting,
scenery, all cast at the behest of men acting like men — "just don't do that."
